About the challenge
DuckHacks is a virtual hackathon hosted on Discord, intended for hackers of all levels of experience (including beginner/first-time hackers) who wish to build a project of their own in a hackathon setting! The project can be anything they wish, as long as it can be coded, we will accept it.
DuckHacks will have mentors present during the hackathon, as well as 3 fun-filled events to kick back, relax and have a fun time alongside your peers! While the events are not mandatory to attend, we do hope you join us and don't miss out on a great time!
At the end of the 24 hour coding timeframe, hackers will submit their projects to this Devpost and prepare themselves to demo their project to judges! The best projects will win gift card prizes, but don't feel pressured to compete if you don't want to. Hackathons are all about the experience, so have fun out there!

- 5:30 PM - Opening Ceremony
- 6:00 PM - Hacking Starts!
- 10:00 PM - Event 1: Skribble.io
- Saturday August 3rd, 2024
- 10:00 AM - Event 2: Geoguesser
- 3:00 PM - Event 3: Discord Games
- 6:00 PM - Devpost closes, all submissions in by now!
- 6:10 PM - Judging schedule released
- 6:15 PM - Judging begins!
- 6:45 PM - Judging ends
- 7:00 PM - Closing ceremony and winners announced!

What to Build
Open-ended! Build any type of project you'd like—a game, an AI, a website, you name it!
What to Submit
A GitHub repository with your source code. Keep in mind that judges will NOT be downloading your submitted project, and you will instead be demo-ing it to the judges via Discord call.
